2.00pm – 2.30pm: Eastbourne & District Scottish Pipe Band - Market Square

 

2.30pm: Arrival of Father Christmas in his Grotto and the opening of the Christmas Market both in St Andrew's Church.

​

Eastbourne & District Scottish Pipe Band will march from Market Square to lead people to the Grotto.

 

2.30pm – 3.15pm: Hunters Moon Morris - Market Square (plus other performances around the Village during the day)

3.15pm – 3.45pm: Pentacle

Drummers - Market Square (plus other performances around the Village during the day)

3.15pm: Eastbourne Scottish

Pipe Band perform in the National

Trust Clergy House

 

3.45pm - 4.15pm: Long Man Morris - Market Square (plus other performances around the Village during the day)

4.15pm: Alfriston School Children Choir - Market Square

​

4.30pm – 4.50pm: Seaford Youth Drama - Market Square

5.00pm: Torchlight procession arrives in the square from the Tye.  Christmas Tree Lights turned on by Father Christmas.

​

The Scottish & District Pipe Band, Pentacle Drummers, Seaford Bonfire Society, Alfriston Pantomime, Morris Dancers and Father Christmas with his Elves  will form the Procession.

 

5.05pm – 5.10pm: Arrive at Market square by 5.10pm for the Judging of ‘Best Dressed Dickensian’ costume  (Just turn up to enter either ‘Best Dressed Adult’ or ‘Best Dressed Child’ categories)

5.15pm: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes for Best Dressed Adult and Best Dressed Child

5.15pm: The Torchlight Procession heads     back down the High Street to the Tye

​

                5.20pm - 6.00pm: Salvation Army – Christmas Carols  - Market Square

​

6.00pm – 6.45pm: Scarlet Impact Trio –Swing Singers (singing festive and non-festive songs) – Market Square

 

6.45pm: Justin Price Magician in Market Square

7.15pm – 8.00pm: Scarlet Impact Trio –Swing singers (singing festive and non-festive songs) – Market Square

 

8.00pm: Pentacle Drummers - Market Square

 

9.00pm: Local Pop/Folk Band ‘Kindred Spirits’ in The Star Inn

At the end of the event (9pm) 

Announcements that the road will be re-opened and coaches will continue to take visitors back to the

Park and Ride Car Park until approximately 10pm
