professionally marshalled by 4x4 Assist.
www.beelinetraveleastbourne.co.uk have very kindly stepped in this year to support the Park and Ride scheme and will be supplying 3 x 49 seater coaches which will run from visible temporary bus stops along Common Lane (marked A, B, C, D, E and F)
A ticket seller will be at each of the bus stops so you can purchase tickets before boarding the coach.
Return bus stops in the village to the Park and Ride will also be marshalled to help visitors return safely.
£4 return per Adult and £2 return per Child
**Please note that there will be no disabled accessible coach for wheelchair users at the Park and Ride site, there will however be limited disabled parking made available in the village, please contact
for more details**
The last bus from Alfriston village to the Park and Ride will leave at 10.00pm sharp.
All Cars MUST be cleared from the Park and Ride Area by 10.15pm as the Road will re-open to traffic from this time.
Alfriston Events take NO
responsibility for any loss or damage
to cars left at the Common Lane Park and Ride site.
We ask you to respect all our volunteer stewards and marshals who help to keep everyone safe during the Dickensian event. Irresponsible behaviour or abuse will not be tolerated at any time.
This year we have not been able to secure an increase in trains stopping at Berwick with Southern Rail. We suggest that you check your travel arrangements with Southern Rail before travelling, including your onward travel to the village from the station.
If you do travel by train and wish to take the Park and Ride bus, it is approximately a 0.5m walk from the station to the Park and Ride site.
