Hunters Moon and Long Man Morris

will be here keeping us entertained,

along with the Pentacle Drummers,

The Salvation Army and

Eastbourne Scottish Pipe Band.  

With the smell of roasting chestnuts on the fire, and warmth and glow from the  Seaford BonfireSocieties torchlight procession; this is always a spectacular event to get you into the Christmas spirit!

Seaford Youth Drama will be acting out a short play, Scarlet Impact - a singing trio, will be performing, festive swing tunes in the High Street through to the close of the event.

​

Ho! Ho! Ho! During the afternoon Father Christmas will be in his Grotto in St. Andrew's Church with gifts from the elves and that special chance to tell Santa what you would like for Christmas for being so good!

​

There is a great selection of open air stalls, rides and goodies on the High Street, and Village Tye. In St. Andrew's Church our NEW for this year – The Christmas Gift Market.

Offering more festive delights including food, drink, and gifts. For the young elf’s there are rides, sparkling lights, balloons, and lots, lots more for everyone to enjoy…

Best Dressed Dickensian

Competition

Adult and Child categories with Rathfinny Hampers for the 1st place winners, and other goodies for 2nd and 3rd place.

The Star Inn will be hosting a Dickensian Party with Kindred Spirits playing from 9pm. Please do support this village event where we will be raising funds for the Alfriston Events Team.

The Alfriston Events Team, would like to thank the Star Inn and all of those businesses, residents and helpers who provide support, their time and knowledge to help keep Alfriston the vibrant village that it is.

Don’t forget our Pubs and Restaurants will all be open, with the Olde Smugglers Inne and The George Inn offering great food and local ales.

Our fantastic restaurants are also open including the Wingrove and The Dining Room at Deans Place Hotel! Book early to avoid disappointment!

The Clergy House is open all afternoon for all to see FREE OF CHARGE, it is an absolute must, whilst you are in the village to see how we used to live!

The Star Inn will have 'live' music from the KINDRED SPRITS (our local band!)
