Memories of days gone by at the 32nd Alfriston Dickensian Christmas evening Well what is there to say, once again the Alfriston Christmas Dickensian was a truly magnificent day, the weather was kind and amazingly mild for the time of year, some had even removed their coats and were walking around in shirtsleeves! Being a relative newcomer in the village of Alfriston I have enjoyed listening to many stories about the village history, and its past from villagers.
